 "Due to Adelaide Gail Zappa and her incessant, worldwide legal attacks on fans honoring Frank Zappa's music, and attempts to negate his request (according to the Zappa hotline, Dec 1993) to "Play My Music", the Project/Object show for Fri 21 Nov 2008, at Bill's Bar in Boston, has been cancelled.
Stand by for further details on the threatening letters. All other shows, have proceeded fantastically or are proceeding as planned, since what we do is 100% legal under US law. It's sad that lawyers are being enriched every year by this useless letter-writing campaign (all clubs also get threat letters).

Der Versuch eines Dankes an Euch Alle!
Erfreulich, das ist das richtige Wort dafür, was gestern in Düsseldorf passiert ist. Waren wir doch dank der hervorragenden Rechtsberatung und Vertretung im Prozess durch Rechtsanwalt Johannes Vogel von der Düsseldorfer Kanzlei Busekist, Winter und Partner, von Anfang an davon überzeugt, dass Gail Zappa’s Klage die notwendige Substanz fehlte. Ein großer Stein ist uns natürlich trotzdem vom Herzen gefallen. Scheint es nun doch soweit zu sein, dass es zu einer von beiden Seiten akzeptierbaren Einigung kommt, ohne einen für alle Zeiten unüberwindbaren Graben zwischen uns und dem ZFT zu schaffen.

The Zappanale is opened in this year of a community project. Musicians from the Bands DOOT, Voice of Cheeze and Ugly Radio Rebellion Band (all USA) formulate substantial attacks as "Anti Agressive Action Band aka Underground Sensation" their clear and unmistakable answer to Gail Zappas against fan base and Zappanale.

The story of UZVA (Finland) began in the summer of 1994. The band, that was founded then, started playing cover songs from bands like Pink Floyd and the Doors.
UZVA's music is instrumental and mostly acoustic, and it is influenced by jazz- and progbands of early 70's.
